The MART, Civic Gallery of Trento (Galleria Civica di Trento) is a modern and contemporary art museum located in Trento, Italy.
It was founded in 1989 and houses a collection of more than 15,000 works of art, including paintings, sculptures, drawings and prints.
The collection includes works by Italian and international artists, including:
- Futurists such as Giacomo Balla, Umberto Boccioni and Gino Severini
- Abstractionists such as Lucio Fontana, Carla Accardi and Piero Dorazio
- Pop artists like Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Keith Haring
- Conceptualists like Joseph Kosuth, Sol LeWitt, and Lawrence Weiner
The Civic Gallery also hosts temporary exhibitions of modern and contemporary art.
The president of the Museum is Vittorio Sgarbi, the director is Diego Ferretti, the manager of the Civic Gallery is Margherita de Pilati.
